Worst Host I Have Ever Been With
1 & 1 was by far my worst hosting experience ever. Their servers were down at least a couple times a month with no prior contact concerning the downtime. When contacted, their support simply provides copy and paste answers from their FAQ, which by itself is not very detailed. To get any answers, I had to call them up and wait on the phone forever, getting passed from operator to operator, before finally an hour later I finally started talking to someone who knew what they were doing. The servers were not entirely slow, but definitely not the fastest on the market. They also do not have cPanel installed, but rather their own awkward control panel, which is hard to navigate, and takes forever to load. The prices for the service were good, but then again its not that hard to sell a bad product for cheap. Don't buy hosting from 1 & 1, unless you want a lot of hassles to deal with. |

Good Support and Value
1and1 offers so many features that most hosts dont offer. Their easy to use control panel, which 1and1 made, makes it easy to do what ever you need to do. 1and1 comes out with new things for hosting all the time. Not to mention their 24/7 phone and ticket support, they were very helpful and they replied to emails usually almost instantly. |
