The free service is not as robust as the paid service.
At first I tried out the free service with Brinkster, and enjoyed the free email account I got with them, as well as the ability to try out some of their services. I soon had some questions which were easily answerable with the Knowledge Base, and some that were quickly answered by their Live Help!
I love checking out the 'Code Bank' for fun pieces of code to try out on my own site, and using the forums to converse with other Brinkster customers. I would suggest Brinkster to anyone from beginner to professional! |

Support me and my family!
Brinkster was my second hosting company, I switched about 2 years ago and I do not regret it for a second!
You definately get your moneyys worth, thats for sure!
They allow many scripting languages, which I found no use for at the start of my 'webmastering career', however grew to depend on these features!
The value is great, not too high, but enough to reassure you that its not some sort of an e-scam!
And possibly the biggest plus for this host... the support! Whether a customer or someone looking for a company the 24 hour live-chat support is always open, and the staff are always willing to help you out and give you as much advice as possible! A great help, especially if your server knowledge is not great, or even on existant!
Where do you lose out? Well, I have noticed a few problems with server down time, this is not a major problem, and does not usually last for extended periods of time (about 3 minutes on average) however it can be frustrating. Don't get me wrong though, this is absolutely no reason not to go with the company, as far as I'm concerned it's just a drop in the ocean!!
In conclusion I would say this company offers amazing value, support and services to everyone in the web design business! |
