FREEWEBS signing up to account too slow!
if you browse FREEWEBS.COM you sure should wait more time than most other website.. tried it from different computers and internet cafes and they are the same!
my gooly!!
the worst is by just signing to your account it would take you a lot of patience to wait!!!
the pages loads ok but signing up? NO!
most times it is, sometimes fast..
but i am going to use it because i think it would be soon to be good as other hosting companies. |

Freewebs is ... AWESOME!!
Many people say Freewebs stinks, but they are wrong! For no cost at all, you get tons of professional and cool templates (plus a CSS editor, so you can edit your template with CSS!), forums, Guestbooks, blogs, a widget bank, counters, and much more. You can have a max of 20 pages, and in each page, you can have as many content boxes as you like. You get an amazing WYSIWYG (What You See If What You get) editor, thats as easy as Microsoft Word. You can insert YouTube videos right into your page, and you can insert your photos from Photobucket.com. Freewebs is your right host for a no-budget host, trust me. I have been using Freewebs for over 2 years, and have seen them evolve into a amazing web host. |

Freewebs is not as bad as people say
I'm using freewebs for a month now, and all I can say is that it's good, cheap and it works well for a personal webpage. The tools are simple to use, html can be incorporated in your paragraph, there are a lot of nice templates, there is only a minimum of publicity and the size of your website is quite enough for a free service.
I warmly recommend freewebs for those who want a pretty personal webpage. |

Poor Support, Unstable Decisions as a Business
Freewebs recently renamed my website to www1.url.com for 3-4 weeks. Then they changed it back to www.url.com. Most of my traffic came from organic search results. Now all the search engines have me indexed as www1.url.com that leads to a 404 error page that I have no control over due to freewebs not allowing .htaccess access. I have been constantly emailing their support(there is no phone support) and receiving a generic "your site works fine" reply three days later. I have been financially affected by this for more than the $100 a year cost of the hosting. In my opinion, stay clear of freewebs! |

Only thing good is the web editor
Been with them for over 4 yrs and most of time were happy and/or content. Problems with every time they decide to "upgrade" their service they screw everything up creating a "very bad experience" at best! Customer service sucks! Placing bad performance on user and not admitting the problem lies with them. Once they do admit to problems on their end they are in no hurry to correct it leaving your site hanging for months until the problem is fixed. |

Host very good for price (free) but very very slow
Because it's free I suppose you can't get everything, however the host is insanely slow almost every hour of the day except for after around midnight. As far as what they offer in the way of editing your website - it's very good for the price.
It's just waaaaay too slow. |

Offered a Lot for Free
I thought FreeWebs offered many features considering it was free. There were a lot of limits that free members had (like uploading only one document at a time). I didn't like that but it was the price for free hosting. However, sometimes it acted funny or the server was down, which I didn't appreciate. Also, the way their file manager was set up, it was hard to go from the page editor of one page to another. They have a simple page editor too for HTML amateurs, so that was a good thing. When I got too lazy, I used that instead. So overall, I'd say Freewebs is pretty good. It just had a few bugs, but I believe they've changed most of those in the last few months. |

Great host, Very easy to use
This has got to be the easiest, and most effective host ive used, great support, many templates and add ons, all that for free members. I have loved the experience. |

Freewebs - Not the Best Host Out There
The only thing I would even say is close to being exceptional would be the price range. Now, just because they offer a good price does not mean it is worthwhile. The server is almost always up and running, the server's speed isn't fantastic. It could be better. Freewebs' customer support is sub-par. I would not recommend using Freewebs to anyone. |

my first host, ok but not good.
this is what i say an ok webhost. This was my first webhost, when i started off. Their site builder was the only reason i had them. They were ok i guess for a beginner, but not if you are an expert or trying to launch a business company i wouldn't reccomend them |

Free, Good and Awesome Host
This host is great, you get a package for free with webhost, and for new webmasters this is a great webhost to use. They also provide a free website creator with it, and tons of scripts to use. The only minus i can see is the advertise, they have a big advertise banner at the top of every page. But they have a fast and free webhost that i used for 4 months when i was a newbie. :=) |
