Harvey Hosting.
What appealed me the most to this host was the offering of unlimited MySql databases. When I saw this, I thought I could have an infinity amount of news systems, content management systems and such. Only problem is, although all this is true and the price is great, the server would randomly go down. Quite annoying it became. Also, it would sometimes not work for certain people. I also had a problem once where the mail servers were a bit screwed, apparently because of a new anti-spam filter they tried to install.
All in all it might not sound great, but the price is too good. If you're looking for a host for a small site or simply to test things on etc..Don't think twice about Harvey's Hosting. But if you're trying to run a Hardware/Software site or something along those lines, where you need to introduce your site to major hardware and software makers, it becomes quite embarassing to say "there is a problem with our host" all the time.
Also, by the time they reply to an e-mail, the problem is usually fixed. Like 2-3 days later. |
