The best host ever!
This is the best web hosting if you plan to host all legal stuff! Proxies are not allowed, but that's not a big deal to me, as I don't host big proxies. Their customer support is great, always online, and you get a response within a minute, max. two minutes! Speed of their server is fantastic, and the price is absolutely great! I am hosted with them for 6 months, and never noticed any downtime at all! Their servers are 100% up! |

support on a down-hill slope.
the support wasnt the best when I wrote a email they only would answer half the question and was very annoying. But if I had a small problem the 24 hour chat was a god-send. The Cpanel was always at the latest version and was very quick. Had Fanstacio. The price is because I left wasnt competive to my current host today. No problems with the speed some of the best Ive ever seen. Was hosted for a year and ran a monitor system, was down three time that YEAR.... AMAZING I SAY! |

Until now I am satisfied with them.
I have just transfered some of my sites to hostgator.com I have no problem till this time. You can host multiple domains in a single account. Their price is also reasonable. However there reseller price is high. Overall I will recomend You to try Hostgator. |

Great Hosting Service
I used this service for about 8 months. The thing I liked most about it is the ability to pay by PayPal. Before I got a credit card this proved to be very valuable. Their control panel is very nice and easy to use. The servers have excellent uptime and the download/upload speeds are nice but not incredibly fast. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone looking for a decent reliable host for not too much of a cost. |

Shared Hosting !!
I went with the Host Gator Shared hosting plan, and I was amazed witht there services from the word go. There control panel (Cpanel) is amazing, support is so quick you didnt see any delay. They have a live help thing on the home page, I used that but there are numerous other ways to contact their support. I chose the Hatchling Account with them giving me 3.5GB of space very cheaply, and a massive ammount of bandwith. I am inclined to go to there Reseller package soon! 10/10 |

Host Gator very resonable hosting
Host Gator is very reasonable, there prices are fine and there servers are fast and just about always up, but there support is something else, i had a problem when i signed up, misspelled my email, so i went on there live support and got a very nice person that told me what to do etc. after doing that i found i couldnt get my email resent, i went on support again and got this rude person who was very unhelpful. they told me it would be fixed. i woke up to find the next day that the proberly had not been fixed, i went on there support a third time and got a person who stuffed arounf for nearly half an hour before giving me the info i wanted. after being with them for nearly a month i decided to change providers, and the deleted my account with in 24 hours of me requesting it.
over all they have good servers and lots of people like them, but i think there support is crap
so i recomend them if you dont want to use there live support |

Great Speed, Minimum Downtime
I had a couple of dedicated servers from Hostgator. Their support is amazing. The live chat is always online. The only downside is sometimes the live chat rep were not able to solve the problem thus causing me to have to put in a support ticket manually. Great prices, Great speed and support. Great Host
This host is awesome, you get a chap fully functional webhost in no time. After payment it takes 5 minutes to set your webhost up. Their reseller package is great, it follows great scripts to use if your going to start your own webhost. They also have a fast support. REason i stoped using it: I got to provide free host. But i am planning starting a reseller, and this is abolutely the best choise. |

Attractive Plans
I was attracted by the plans of this host. Although the price is abit steep for starters but still, it's worth it. My friends were all attracted but chose other host as they were cheaper. |

Love Their Customer Service - Gave Prompt Refund
I host about 25 small websites in a small reseller account with another host. I am not really a reseller because all of the sites I host are either my own sites or sites I designed for other people and "gave" them free hosting by adding them to my reseller account. Anyway, last month, I searched for a new host because I needed more bandwidth, and I wanted to reconfirm that my current host was still priced competitively. While I still had my present hosting account, I opened accounts with HostGator and another company - so for a month I had some of my websites hosted at each of the 3 different hosting companies. I finally decided that my old host (SultanHosting), who I had been with for over 2 years, was doing great, and was priced OK, so why take a chance on someone else? HostGator gave me a speedy refund with no arguments at all - they said in the first 30 days that satisfaction was guaranteed or they would give me a full refund, and that's exactly what they did. That was great customer service, and if I ever need to change hosts, I will go straight to HostGator! |

Best uptime, but bad support
Host gator is a great value for the money. The best uptime I have found and great features. I use their reseller plans and this allows me to host all 70 of my websites. The only downside is support, they have live support most of the day however they usually can't answer anything. |

Super Speedy Support!
Though I have only used this host for one month now I've had no problems. I wanted about 15 websites transfered to them, which they did without any problem (or additional payment). These were all done within 24 hours, maybe 12 which was great!
Support always seems to be very fast and helpful!
I encountered one downtime (I think). I contacted them via IM but I'm not sure the person knew what they were doing...it may just a been a glitch my end, but by the time I got a reply it seemed to have been sorted out (I'm not really sure what happened - could of just been me...Their service for the rest of the month makes up for this if it was them).
If they continue how they've started then I've found a brilliant hosting company! |

Good For Non-Technical Small Sites
Host gator seem great for small sites. I hosted a series of websites with them. Whenever I emailed them for support I heard back within a matter of minutes usually! Which is great however you do have to type your support emails very basic english, very carefully documenting your problem. They will ask you the most obvious questions and waste time if you do not specifiy everything. It almost feels like you are dealing with a helpdesk out of the EU/States.
Servers were never a problem untill my site started to get busy, they moved my server as the site was slowling up the server but a whole load of problems them started, databases would go missing. For large important, revenue earning sites I would not recommend host gator however for small sites, they are great.
Server downtime seemed slightly more than they claim, but ok service. For the price, can't be beaten. However in the last week I have moved hosts to a more expensive host, I don't mind paying more for a more advanced service. |

Everything is good in this host
I was hosted on hostgator for 4 months. The server speed and uptime is too good. And they also provided excellent support.
I would recommed them to anyone going for hosting although they are a little expensive but very reliable!! |

Uptime problems every now and then.
The price was perfect and the support was great at first. Later I started noticing some uptime problems every now and then. Short durations of 5-10 mins each time. I feel the support didn't have the greatest knowledge on webhosting. Overall a good host IMO. |
