Service and Support SUCK!
I've tolerated this hosting service for years and am now seeking another hosting provider after the continuous battle. There have to be other providers out there worth dealing with as I am not willing to give IPower any more of my money! |

Really Bad Customer Support
I deal with various hosting companies (godaddy.com, networksolutions.com, christianwebhost.com, hostrocket.com, ipowerweb.com) and out of all of these hosting companies I have had more problems with their company than any other. I have had problems with my password not working for FTP on one site and on the other site they host for me, my vdeck (control panel) login did not work. I tried to cancel a domain name once and somehow my control panel kept showing the wrong domain name. It took months to get that problem resolved and not to mention how rude the customer svc. reps were on the chat line. Try calling their "toll" free number and see how long to you have to wait to speak to someone. If you try to chat with them, count on being at least number 70 in line. They most recently double billed me for hosting on my credit card. If you are considering Ipowerweb for hosting, I would seriously consider how hard it is to talk to a live person from their co. |

live support bot on phone and chat
I do and teach web design and have set this up for several clients. The control panel is super easy to use, decent front page support(could be better), super fast setup, took 3 min to install oscommerce,same for agora didnt try b2b but it has install link also. The very best thing is live people to support it. they have live support chat on web site plus easy to get phone support average 2 min wait till live person who knows what they are talking about. some of my clients who use this hosting: Http://OverTheHillCarPeople.com, Http://UrbanGalleryTV.com |
