Affordable & GOOD LINUX server packages. FROM MALAYSIA.
I have started using MESRAHOSTING in 2003 for OOPSMURAL.COM, although i have heard of this very company since year 2000. As a local Malaysian citizen, I was looking forward for an affordable range of LOCAL webhosting services. I am pretty much glad with their services offered thus far. We are currently still using it's service at the moment. (site under revamp at the moment)

The most affordable package is the LINUX 1GB (RM150 per year which is about USD 42-45 yearly)per year package. Although new domain registration costed between USD 10-15. This minimal package includes
unlimited webmail/pop3 account
unlimited mySQL Database
allows up to 20 sub domains
bandwidth is however 10gb per month
free setup
an easy to use and secure cpanel (good for newbies)
SSI enable
mail filter
free tech support (respond time is good)
Pre-Installed Perl Modules
Sometimes, its rather hard for local asian people to order overseas pcakages. I think MESRAHOSTING is one of the most affordable webhost solution available in SOUTH EAST ASIA. Most webhosting companies in MALAYSIA didn't last very long. For a comapny that has exist and maintained since 1998, i d say MESRAHOSTING is worth the money. Overseas are also welcome to use their services. They do offer WINDOWS based server hosting although it is more costly.
As a graphic and web designer, designing affordable and simple designs, i usually reccommend some local webhost services. I found that MESRAHOSTING is by far the best and sustainable (i never experience a server downtime so far) Malaysian webhost services. I do put up afew of our clients for MESRAHOSTING.
Oh, it doesn't support PORN related activities.
