Kiddie Host Strikes Agaim
Well, where do I begin? Why not start with the fact, that you post to get the hosting. You make 30 posts and get the hosting. Well, guess what, you get UNLIMITED bandwidth! Wow! What a bunch of crap! We all know there is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth. Well, after you make 30 posts, you can make 30 more and get more hosting, and keep doing this, until, in essance, you could have 1GB or more of space with unlimited bandwidth. Anyone else starting feel RIP OFF int he air?
Well, lets touch base with the Support Staff. There is none. The owner never repsonds to messages on MSN. So he has some 14 year old do the support. Well, let me tell you folks, this kid is a mighty n00b.
First, we get into an argument about unlimited bandwidth. This kid is hellbent on believing in unlimited bandwidth.
To sum it all up, he believes there is unlimited bandwidth, and when he doesn;t get my point, he decides to block me and threaten to take away my hosting. How professional.
Now, on to my next point. My hosting has been down for 7 days as of today. And guess what? I can't even get a straight answer as to WHY. I tried to contact the owner, to no avail, so I got in touch with one of the forum Moderators. He claimed that people were complaining about the server time being incorrect (on the Windows server, which my account was hosted on), to the owner, Mike, so Mike saw it fit to suddenly uninstall EVERYTHING on the server and reinstall it. Well, obviously that hasn't worked too well, because my hosting is still down.
Now, most of you are probably saying just post on the forums and wait for him to answer! Well, I would love to do that, but Mike has the forums disabled. How convienant.
So I asked out Unlimited Bandwidth 14 year old support specialist, Frosty, who was the person I had the debate about unlimited bandwidth, what the problem was. He clains the server is having "motherboard issues". Now what those are, I have no idea, but I found it strange that both staff members had conflicting reports.
Now, I could go on for a few more hours complaining about this hosting company, but I won't. In this final paragraph, I must urge you to stay away from this host at ALL COSTS! It may look appealing but do not be fooled! |
