Shield Host is less than what you bargain for
Simply, thumbs-down. They are offline all the time and they do not uphold their 99% uptime guarantee (they say they will reimburse you, but don't kid yourself). They just keep telling you in broken english that they assure you that it won't happen again. Then it happens again. They also do not apologize but rather say "we fixed it your site is fine now." Same line every time. That is, when they're not assuring me that my site won't go offline, usually while my site goes back offline again.
Also they transferred servers (without notice) and lost 2 days of posts. On trying to correct that 3 days later, they lost the newer three days worth of posts instead. Then they told me I should just live with it or else things will get even more corrupted. Thanks guys. No apologies for that smooth move either. And just forget about them offering me something for my data loss, hell they didn't even offer me anything for the 3 days of downtime we've already had this month, which is only half-way through. Yes, that is three FULL days downtime.
