Lots of limitations with Yahoo Small Business
Yahoo! is great for *most* things, but if you start adding more php apps like Joomla and associated modules and components, it becomes problematic...
- They run php 4.3 and have no plan to move to 5.x Customer support didn't even understand the question and eventually just disconnected me.
- No .htaccess. Again, they couldn't really tell me why. This is a problem for lots of php-based apps.
- Their servers aren't *that* great. They bomb-out alot anytime you try to do something intensive, like archiving your email box. |

they just recently upped our speed 3X without a price hike
I have had a pretty good experience thus far I had used a host through a phone company previously and had alot of problems with viruses etc. due to their security pkg. they give so far I've had pretty good luck so far...nobody is 100% guaranteed but it has been a very nice experience to date |

100% uptime
The uptime I have with yahoo webhosting is so incredibly good !!! I have never seen my website offline !!
The thing I don't like about it, I am Dutch, live in Belgium and have to call to the US for support !! that's stupid. last time I tried calling them, I had to spell "chateaulexhy" in english. that took me 30 minutes ... I can't spell in english !!! at the end I went to google and typed "police letter alphabet" and said every single letter of it to the customer support there. Finally, they could help me out with my billing problem ( my own fault )
Overall Yahoo gets a 6/10, just because they are a bit slow sometimes ( the website loading ) and they are very expencive compared to all the other webhosts around ! |

So-o-So, theres betters avaible
I have just recently starting to use Yahoo in addition to another web host. Yahoo is cheap so I didn't expect much, and not much is the best way to describe their service. Over all their hosing isn't that bad, but when you break it down its not the best. There's better out there, looks else where. |

Better Service Since Upgrade
I've been using Yahoo hosting, since I'm a subsriber to Rogers HiSpeed Internet. Before the server upgrade, it was very unreliable and the bandwidth would exceed after a few days. With the new upgrade, it's faster, stores more, and I almost never exceeds bandwidth. |

Not Bad, Not Great
Before I used GoDaddy, I used yahoo. Back then, they were ok, I'm not really sure where they are at now. They have pretty stable service, pretty stable speeds, obviously nothing to go crazy over but it wasn't at all bad. |

Offers many features
I've been using for many years and always appreaciated all their features. E-mail, search, maps, chats...And the hosting is really useful for me. I especially like to upload photos and music and post them in forums or other sites. Yahoo offers a pretty large capactiy of file hosting. Very satisfied. |

No complaints, great service
I've been using Yahoo for years now, I love everything from the e-mails, maps and photo albums.
I've mostly been using Yahoo for uploading my digital photos and I've never had any problems.
I used their webhosting to link songs an videos to send to others, very easy and efficient. |

Don't be fooled by the company name(Yahoo), it's not as good as you might expect
Their ads look fancy and attractive, you easily get attracted by their ads and start your service, but after then you realize the services they offer nowhere seem like a service from such a big company Yahoo, speed is unstable, sometimes you can max out, but sometimes you get something ridiculously terrible. The answers you will get from questions to the support will be some 'Copy and paste' sentences those monkies have in their monkey hand-book. At last, their price value isn't that great either. Go look for a better option! |

Yahoo Host Review
Being a yahoo host user for a year, i've had no problems with them, but there is a couple of small issues that might bug you a while. First, the speed is slow, i mean SLOW. Secondly, the customer support isn't that great at all, it took them 2 business days to reply and it's not that helpful. Other than those issues, they seems okay, and the price value is really good. |

Best server time
As all of you know how much popular is yahoo, so I hosted one of my site on yahoo. Their server were good but I was not happy with the kind of support they provided, taking sometimes 2 days to reply to the emails.

Customer Support +
The customer support for the Yahoo Web Hosting was amazing. The representatives gave clear and precise information. The directions were simple and easy to follow. It was as if someone was explaining how to set a box of lego's. The handled complaints extrodinarily well. I used their advice and hosted a great multi-media server for my World of Warcraft. They showed me all the features I can use and helped my apply them in the concept I was looking for. They helped me create my whole layout in a matter of minutes. I would rate their service a 9 out of 10. I hope they continue to provide outstanding service as the one that was provided to me. |

That was my best choice!
Yahoo! Web Hosting is little bit overpriced but then you know you are hosting with one of the biggest name in the industry. I would recommend Yahoo! webhosting to anyone who has 100% uptime an issue. Yahoo! is probably the most reliable webhosting provider around just because of their network topology.
